Wilmington man facing multiple drug and firearm charges

WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) – A man is facing numerous charges after a 4 month long investigation by the Wilmington Police Department (WPD).

The WPD Narcotics Investigation Division executed a search warrant on 33-year-old Travis Seymore’s apartment on South 17th Street and found:

  • 70 grams of cocaine
  • 60 grams of marijuana
  • 15 doses of suboxone
  • Three dosage units of MDMA
  • Two firearms (one of which was stolen)

WPD says the Carolina Beach Police Department assisted them during the investigation.

Seymore is charged with

  • Sell or Deliver Cocaine
  • PWIMSD Cocaine
  • Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
  • Possession of Firearm by Felon
  • Trafficking in Cocaine
  • Felony Possession of Stolen Firearm
  • Possession Schedule VI Controlled Substance
  • and Manufacture Schedule VI Controlled Substance

Seymore is being held under a $1,050,000 secured bond at the New Hanover Sheriff’s Office Detention Center.
