WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) – A planned stormwater pipe replacement for a street in the Soda Pop district has been delayed, according to officials with the city of Wilmington.
The project to replace piping planned for the 900 block of Princess Street was originally scheduled for Dec. 8-12.
City officials said the work will be rescheduled for a future date, and a new timeline will be shared as soon as it is confirmed.
Once the project begins, both lanes of Princess Street will be closed from the intersection of 10th Street, extending approximately 80 feet west toward 9th Street.
“Thanks for your patience as we continue preparing for this infrastructure upgrade!” officials wrote on the city’s Facebook page.
