WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) – Wave Transit is asking for public feedback on redesigning their system with proposed route-level and system changes.
Wave Transit’s changes will offer the following:
- “Wave’s first-ever frequent (15-minute) service
- “New 30-minute Saturday service on Route 108 – Market St
- “Port City Trolley operating more frequently and on Sundays
- “Direct connection from Padgett Station to Mayfaire every hour on new Route 206 – Oleander Dr.
- “Additional bus stops on College Rd to improve access”
Residents can submit feedback by September 15. Finalized changes to the system will take place in January.
