WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) – Across North Carolina, many counties are seeing record numbers of voters showing up to the polls during the early voting period.
Residents in the Cape Fear area have reported long wait times at some polling locations. To skip the line, however, voters in New Hanover and Brunswick counties can check online to see how long the current wait is at their preferred location.
Brunswick County voters can do so here, while those in New Hanover County can check wait times here.
One-stop early voting began across North Carolina on October 17 and ends at 3 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 2.
