WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) – New Hanover County is inviting the community to volunteer to help out with early voting and Election Day.
“These crucial roles in the voting process serve as poll workers during early voting and on Election Day, making sure sites around the county are staffed and ready to meet the needs of voters as they cast their ballots. Each site features a variety of staff roles, including various coordinators, greeters and operators who ensure the election process is run efficiently and securely,” a county announcement states.
All volunteers must be U.S. citizens who are registered to vote in New Hanover County and must take part in a mandatory training session.
