CAROLINA BEACH, N.C. (WECT) – A Carolina Beach man was killed in a Fourth of July stabbing on Spencer-Farlow Drive, according to an update from the town’s police department.
Per the Carolina Beach Police Department, units arrived to the scene at approximately 7: 40 a.m., where 28-year-old Dakota Ryan Capes was found dead.
Officers arrested and charged 40-year-old James Arthur Johnson of Laurinburg with second degree murder.
“No other information will be released at this time as the case is ongoing,” CBPD adds.
