WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) – The City of Wilmington has announced plans for traffic changes to accommodate filming in the area.

Per releases from the city, traffic impacts include:

Sept. 20-21

From 6 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 20, to 6 a.m. Saturday, One Tree Hill Way will experience closures between 23rd and Stanley streets for “The Waterfront” filming.

Sept. 24-25

From 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 24, to 4 a.m. Wednesday, Front Street will experience closures between Grace and Walnut streets for “The Waterfront” filming.

From 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sept. 24, intermittent traffic control will affect S 4th Street between Ann and Nun streets for “The Runarounds” filming.

Between 5 a.m. and 4 p.m. on Sept. 24, intermittent traffic control will affect Castle Street between 6th and 7th streets for “The Runarounds” filming.

From 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Sept. 25, intermittent traffic control will affect Park Avenue between S 43rd and S 42nd streets for “The Runarounds” filming.

Sept. 30

Between 3 a.m. and 4 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 30, intermittent traffic control will affect the intersection of Front and Ann streets and Water Street between Orange and Ann streets for “The Waterfront” filming.

Oct. 3-4

From 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 3, Front Street will experience closures between Market and Dock streets for “The Waterfront” filming. Intermittent traffic control will affect:

  • N Front Street between Princess and Market streets
  • Intersection of Market and Front streets
  • Intersection of Water and Princess streets

Between 6 a.m. on Thursday to 3 a.m. Friday, the 00 block of Market Street and Water Street between Princess and Dock streets will experience closures for “The Waterfront” filming.
