WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) – The demolition of Galloway Hall on the campus of UNCW began July 11, and the university is now selling bricks from the former residence hall for those who would like a piece of history.

For $49.98, those interested can purchase a brick from the UNCW bookstore website.

“Galloway Hall Brick, from UNCW’s oldest residence. The building was completed in 1971 and named after Edmond R. Galloway, who was a UNCW student who died in a bicycle accident on Oct. 11, 1974. Own a piece of UNCW history,” the website states.
