BOSTON, M.A. (WECT) – The UNCW men’s basketball team defeated the Northeastern Huskies on the road in Boston Thursday, Jan. 25.

Shykeim Phillips led the Seahawks in scoring with 17 points in the 77-54 win. Phillips also recorded six assists and seven rebounds.

Trazarien White and KJ Jenkins added 13 and 12 points, respectively, and UNCW improved to 14-5 overall and 5-2 in the Coastal Athletic Association with the win.

Northeastern fell to 8-12 and 3-4 in the CAA with the loss.

“The Seahawks’ 54 points allowed were a season-low against Division I opponents this season, eclipsing the previous low of 55 in a win at Florida Gulf Coast on Nov. 25,” UNCW reports.
