UNCW announces schedule for upcoming baseball season
WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) – The back-to-back Coastal Athletic Association baseball champions are set to return to the field, kicking off the new season Friday, Feb. 14 against Quinnipiac.
According to the University of North Carolina Wilmington announcement, the full Seahawks baseball schedule has been released, featuring 29 home games at Brooks Field.
Sixteen games will be played against teams that made the 2024 NCAA Regionals. UNCW secured a spot in the tournament last season but was knocked out in the Athens Regional.
The Seahawks will have two early chances in the season to defeat the team that played a roll in bouncing them from the 2024 tournament, facing Georgia Saturday and Sunday, Feb. 15-16.
