WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) – Two local organizations will be presented checks by the Mungo Homes Foundation as part of their week of giving event.
From Dec. 2 to 6, more than 40 nonprofit organizations across the 10 markets where Mungo homes are built will be presented with checks, including one in Wilmington and one in Wrightsville Beach.
The foundation will present $5,000 to Canines for Service, an organization that trains service dogs to help people with disabilities.
They will also be giving a $5,000 check to help Jimmy’s Bike Drive provide bikes to children in need.
The check presentation for Canines for Service will be held Dec. 4 at 1 p.m. at 221-1 Old Dairy Road.
