WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) – Around 90 customers lost power on July 1 after an oak tree that fell onto a power line.

Some neighbors thought that it might have been lightning, while the homeowner thinks the tree was already leaning and that it hit a transformer due to the storm, causing the crash.

As of about 1:27 p.m., Duke Energy crews were on the scene.
