BRUNSWICK COUNTY, N.C. (WECT) – Officials have provided an update on road conditions on N.C. 211 in Brunswick County.

According to DriveNC, the road was closed near St. James on N.C. 211 between Sunset Harbor Road and N.C. 906.

DriveNC originally reported the closure as being the result of a crash.

The Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office and Highway Patrol have informed WECT that there is no crash or closure in the area.

The roads are icy in the area and being treated by NCDOT, according a WECT crew on the scene.
