LELAND, N.C. (WECT) – Crews are at the scene of a crash in Leland, according to the Leland Police Department (LPD).

LPD officials say U.S. 17 near Ocean Gate Plaza is down to one lane due to a crash.

Officers and emergency personnel crews are currently at the scene.

No word yet on injuries or the number of vehicles involved in the crash.

Drivers are advised to avoid the area and to expect delays.
