LELAND, N.C. (WECT) – The Town of Leland has released its plans to try to keep families safe over the next four years.

The plan will serve as roadmaps for the police, fire rescue and emergency management departments.

A police department survey said that 55 percent of people who took it said they were satisfied with the department’s communication.

Because of this, the department says it is prioritizing communication and public service.
