WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) – Thousands of people are expected to attend Wilmington Riverfest downtown on Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 4-5.

Guests can expect a variety of food and arts vendors during the street fair throughout the day, along with performances by musical acts.

There will be a BMX bike show, a drone show, a car display and more for attendees to enjoy.

The schedule of events includes:

• Saturday. Oct. 4:
  • Street Fair: 10 a.m. – 7 p.m.
  • Car Display: 10 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
  • Kid Zone: 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. (Cape Fear Community College [CFCC] Parking Lot)
  • Band Performances: 3 – 5:30 p.m. (CFCC Parking Lot)
  • BMX Bike Show: 12:30 pm, 2:30 pm, & 4:00 pm (CFCC Parking Lot)
  • Stage Performances 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. (CFCC Parking Lot)
  • Block Party: 7:30 pm – 8:30 pm SouLe & The Super Band Performing (Water Street Park along the River)
  • Drone Show: 8:30 p.m. (Along the Riverwalk)
• Sunday, Oct. 5:
  • Street Fair: 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
  • Car Display: 10:30 a.m.
  • Kid Zone: 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. (CFCC Parking Lot)
  • Band Performances: 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. (CFCC Parking Lot)
  • BMX Bike Show: 12 p.m., 1:30 p.m., 3:15 p.m. (CFCC Parking Lot)

Front Street will be closed between Brunswick and Chestnut streets during the fair.
