WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) – Registration is open for New Hanover County’s third annual Equity and Inclusion Summit set for Sept. 5-6.
The event at CFCC’s Union Station will focus on disability awareness, community response to the homelessness crisis, understanding AI through the lens of equity and other topics.
“This year we are faced with even more government regulations, bans and an assortment of issues that challenge the work of diversity and inclusion globally. This summit promises to continue the necessary dialogues and exploration of these challenges in order to help our communities thrive and continue our journey to community-wide inclusion,” a county announcement states.
