A new synthetic turf field was installed at Legion Stadium last week, per a City of Wilmington announcement from July 16.

WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) – A new synthetic turf field was installed at Legion Stadium last week, per a City of Wilmington announcement from July 16.

The field includes inlaid markings for football, men’s and women’s lacrosse, and soccer.

The New Hanover High School logo is at center field and “WILDCATS” is in each end zone.
