WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) – The Strut for Childhood Cancer Race is returning to Wilmington this weekend for its 17th year.
According to event organizers, the Strut will feature a 5K, a 1-mile fun run, the Flamingo Foam Party, bounce houses, children’s activities and more.
“The Strut for Childhood Cancer Race has become a cherished tradition in the community and will continue to help Cape Fear children and their families served by Children’s Cancer Partners of the Carolinas, who face the challenges of pediatric cancer,” event organizers said in a press release.
The event is scheduled for Saturday, March 7, at 9 a.m. at Long Leaf Park in Wilmington.
