WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) – There is still no trial date for Raquel Adams, one of three people charged in connection to a double murder in the home of former TRU Colors COO in 2021, per District Attorney Ben David’s office.

In May, the case was continued by Judge Jones due to a health issue with Adams’ defense attorney, but no trial date was set at the hearing on Wednesday, July 10.

According to the DA’s office, the cases will go back before a judge in September, and the defense attorney will then update on his ability to try the case at that point.

The attorneys of fellow suspects Dyrell Green and Omonte Bell withdrew from their cases earlier this year, and trial dates have not been set for Green or Bell.
