CHARLOTTE — The Panthers activated right guard John Miller from the reserve/COVID-19 list Wednesday.
The veteran offensive lineman is expected to participate in practice today, as he begins working his way back after missing last week’s game.
The 28-year-old Miller started 14 games for the Panthers last season. Dennis Daley started at right guard last week against the Jets.
They have a one-day roster exemption for Miller, but that’s largely a moot point since they had an open roster spot.
Offensive lineman Sam Tecklenburg was promoted from the practice squad last week to fill Miller’s spot, but as a standard elevation, he automatically reverted to the practice squad Monday.
