COLUMBUS COUNTY, N.C. (WECT) – The NC Governor’s Highway Safety Program’s “Speeding Wrecks Lives” campaign runs from now until July 26 throughout the state.
The Columbus County Sheriff’s Office is participating and reminding drivers to be safe on the road.
“Our goal is to remind everyone that speed limits aren’t suggestions; they are crucial for keeping our roads safe. Let’s work together to reduce speeding and prevent accidents. Your safety is our priority!” a CCSO announcement states.
