Bladen County Health Department hosting no-cost COVID-19 testing events

BLADEN COUNTY, N.C. (WECT) – Free COVID-19 testing events to be held at the Bladen County Health Department on several dates in November, beginning Thursday, November 5 at 1 p.m.

Subsequent testing events are being held from 9:30 a.m. – 4 p.m. (except for a half-hour lunch break) at 300 Mercer Mill Road on the following dates:

  • Friday, November 6
  • Monday, November 9
  • Thursday, November 12
  • Friday, November 13
  • Monday, November 16
  • Thursday, November 19
  • Friday, November 20
  • Monday, November 23

The COVID-19 testing services are provided by OptumServe and UnitedHealth Group. To schedule an appointment and check for any change in location, call (877) 562-4850 or visit here.

Anyone who meets the testing criteria can be tested at the community testing site, including uninsured, under-insured, undocumented and homeless individuals.
