SOUTHPORT, N.C. (WECT) – The Amuzu Theatre is Southport will be alive with the sounds of 1950′s and ‘60′s rock ‘n’ roll as it hosts the Rock and Roll Oldies show Aug. 9-11 and Sept. 6-8.
Susan Crippen, emcee of the event, spoke with WECT about what attendees can expect.
“We want you to sing, we want you to dance, we want you to have a great time,” Crippen said.
Songs set to be played include Ain’t No Mountain High Enough, Dancing In The Street, Downtown, Fever and many more.
Friday and Saturday shows will begin at 7:30 p.m., while Sunday shows will be held at 3 p.m.
Tickets, which are $25, are available at the Ricky Evans Gallery and Color Me Carolina.
