SOUTHPORT, N.C. (WECT) – The Southport-Fort Fisher Ferry will operate on a one boat schedule Tuesday, Aug. 13, according to the North Carolina Department of Transportation.

Per the NCDOT, mechanical issues have necessitated the schedule change. Scheduled departures for Tuesday are:

Leaving Southport:

• 10:00 a.m., 11:30 a.m., 1:00 p.m., 2:30 p.m., 4:00 p.m. and 6:15 p.m.

Leaving Fort Fisher

• 9:15 a.m., 10:45 a.m., 12:15 p.m., 1:45 p.m., 3:15 p.m., and 4:45 p.m.
