Sisters graduate at the same time from CFCC health science programs

WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) – Three sisters from Garland graduated together from separate health science programs at Cape Fear Community College, according to a CFCC release.
Per the college, 24-year-old Esmeralda, 22-year-old Aidee and 21-year-old Imelda Gonzalez graduated from the medical laboratory technology, dental assisting and pharmacy technology programs respectively.
The three are first-generation college students with parents who immigrated from Mexico.
Esmeralda and Imelda plan to begin working at Novant, while Aidee plans to work at a local dental office.
