ROCKY POINT, N.C. (WECT) – Crews are working to handle a sinkhole on I-40 East near Rocky Point on Wednesday, July 10.

Per the N.C. Department of Transportation, one of the two lanes is closed, and crews are working to make repairs.

The lane closure is expected to end by 5 p.m. on Thursday.
