SHALLOTTE, N.C. (WECT) – The Shallotte Police Department’s Pack-A-Cruiser campaign is set to kick off on Thursday, Aug. 1, according to a SPD announcement.

Per the police department, the campaign will run through Aug. 23. Those interested in participating can drop off supplies between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday at 114 Cheers St.

Needed supplies include:

• Bookbags
• Pencils
• Pens
• Highlighters
• Scissors
• Glue
• College and wide ruled notebooks
• Crayons
• Filler paper
• Calculators
• Rulers
• Erasers
• Water bottles
