ROCKY MOUNT, N.C. (WECT) – The N.C. Division of Motor Vehicles announced July 19 that some of its driver license offices and license plate agencies were being affected by the CrowdStrike outage caused by a failed update.
The DMV says it plans to try and reach out to affected customers to reschedule appointments.
The outage also affected some of the DMV’s online services.
As of about 1:47 p.m., the outage has ended and services have resumed.
