WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) – Fans can now buy season tickets for the 2024-2025 UNCW men’s and women’s basketball season.

The season includes nine home games against Coastal Athletic Association teams and other matchups against non-conference teams.

Tickets for the men’s team start at $109 with some seats requiring a donation to the Seahawk Club, and tickets for the women’s team are $85 for general admission seating.

“The Seahawks’ men’s program enters its fifth season under Head Coach Takayo Siddle, who guided the program to a 21-10 record last season, highlighted by a road victory at nationally-ranked Kentucky last December. UNCW has won at least 20 games in three straight seasons for the first time in program history,” a UNCW announcement states.

Their non-conference opponents will include Marshall, UNC Asheville, Florida Gulf Coast, Georgia Southern, Mount Olive and Spartanburg Methodist.

“UNCW women’s basketball Head Coach Nicole Woods begins her second campaign armed with nine newcomers and six returners that include CAA All-Rookie guard Taylor Henderson. Among the new Seahawks are reigning CAA Sixth Player of the Year Jania Hall and North Carolina transfer Alexandra Zelaya,” the announcement continues.

The women’s program will face off against non-conference opponents The Apprentice School, Clinton College, Longwood, West Georgia, Winthrop and Norfolk State at Trask Coliseum.
