CHADBOURN, N.C. (WECT) – The H.E.A.R.T.S. Foundation is set to host a school supplies giveaway in Chadbourn on Saturday, July 27, according to an announcement from Columbus County Schools.
Per the announcement, families with children are invited to pick up a free backpack, school supplies and enjoy festivities from 3 to 6 p.m. at Chadbourn Parks & Recreation, 116 Miller St.
“This year will not be a drive thru, you will have to physically arrive to the actual site to pick up back pack and school supplies,” the announcement states. “All Children MUST be present to receive school materials and back pack.”
Festivities include live music, a rock wall, mechanical bull, food trucks and more.
