WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) – The artist lineup and schedule have been announced for the 9th annual ARTFall Juried Show and Sale, set for Oct. 18-26.

According to an announcement from organizers, the exhibition will be held in the lobby museum and community gallery of the Hannah Block Historic USO/Community Arts Center from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday.

“ARTfall will open with a dessert reception to honor the artists and announce the award winners on Thursday, October 17th from 6 to 8 pm,” the release states. “The public is invited to attend the reception and enjoy signature refreshments from Apple Annie’s Bake Shop and Nothing Bundt Cakes.

“Well-known solo artist and instrumentalist Susan Savia will perform songs from her vast repertoire including jazz, pop, country, and classic standards. Artist awards will be presented for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place, Honorable Mention, and People’s Choice with cash prizes totaling $525.00.”

Artist Benjamin Billingsley will be the judge of this year’s exhibition; he earned an MFA from UNC-Greensboro, has taught art classes at Cape Fear Community College, curated a museum exhibit, and exhibited work in several countries.
