SURF CITY, N.C. (WECT) – The community is invited to a meeting Monday, Sept. 9, in Surf City to discuss proposed road improvements in the area, according to the North Carolina Department of Transportation.
Per NCDOT, N.C. 210, Caretta Drive and Charlie Medline Road would receive improvements to “improve mobility and increase capacity in the area.”
“The project includes improvements along Charlie Medlin Drive and Caretta Road, to bypass the N.C. 50/N.C. 210/Belt Road intersection. Caretta Road will be extended to intersect with N.C. 210 between Atkinson Loop Road and Kayda Way.”
The meeting will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Surf City Parks and Recreation Gymnasium, 201 Community Center Drive.
