SOUTHPORT, N.C. (WECT) – East West Partners and Bald Head Island Ltd. will be holding a public input meeting to present their plan for a development in Southport.

According to the city of Southport, the meeting will be held to present the master development plan for the Waterway Community.

The proposal includes 199 multifamily, two-family, and single-family homes and nonresidential uses at the existing marina covering 48 acres.

A copy of the proposal can be viewed in the City of Southport Planning, Zoning, and Inspections on the first floor of City Hall from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekdays.

The public input meeting is set for Wednesday, May 28 at the Southport Community Building starting at 5 p.m.
