WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) – According to Duke Energy, about 1,242 customers are without power in the Wrightsboro area as of 12:40 p.m. on Tuesday. July 23. ab
The outage was caused by equipment going offline and is expected to be restored around 2:30 p.m.
Per Brunswick Electric Membership Corporation, 21,895 customers were without power as of 12:15 p.m. in the areas in and around Shallotte, Holden Beach and Varnamtown. Power was restored for most of those customers at around 12:33 p.m.
