WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) – An early Monday, Sept. 2, shooting damaged Novant Health New Hanover Orthopedic Hospital, according to the Wilmington Police Department.

Per the WPD, officers were called to assist hospital police just after 1:15 a.m.

A shell casing was located on Wrightsville Avenue and damage to a window was discovered. No one was injured in the incident.

Police are continuing to investigate.
