CAROLINA BEACH, N.C. (WECT) – Carolina Beach police are investigating after one person was killed Thursday, July 4.

Per the Carolina Beach Police Department, units responded to the 600 block of Spencer-Farlow Drive, near Food Lion, just before 7 a.m.

One person is in custody following the isolated incident.
