Photos: Panthers players dress up for Halloween, visit Levine Children’s Hospital patients
Panthers rookies handed out candy and talked with patients
CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) – A group of Carolina Panthers players surprised some patients at Levine Children’s Hospital on Tuesday, donning their best Halloween costumes while handing out candy and more.
Sixteen rookies showed up, along with Panthers owner Nicole Tepper. Emerging stars Xavier Legette, Trevin Wallace and Jalen Coker were among the group of first-year players who participated.
Legette came dressed as Woody from “Toy Story,” while other players dressed up as Batman, Scooby-Doo, Mario and more.
While they were at the hospital, players visited with patients and staff, bringing smiles to their faces.
Recently, Levine Children’s Hospital was ranked the No. 1 children’s hospital in North Carolina and tied for the top spot in the southeastern United States. Levine Children’s place in the top 50 nationwide across 10 separate pediatric specialties.
