BURGAW, N.C. (WECT) – Smokey, an approximately 3-year-old Irish Wolfadoodle (Irish Wolfhound and Poodle mix), is available for adoption from the Pender County Humane Society.
“He is the sweetest boy who just wants love and attention!” the humane society says.
Smokey is housetrained, neutered, up-to-date on his vaccinations and microchipped. Additionally, he gets along well with kids, cats and other dogs.
He likes to play, and found himself homeless because he kept jumping over his fence. A six- to eight-foot fence is necessary for his new family.
Smokey is also described as a snuggly dog who enjoys chilling, too.
Those interested in adopting Smokey can call the shelter at (910) 259-7022. More information, including adoption fees and applications, are available on the Pender County Humane Society website.
