BURGAW, N.C. (WECT) – Aster, a one-year-old Labrador Retriever mix, is still available for adoption from the Pender County Humane Society.

WECT featured Aster in June, shortly after she celebrated her first birthday. Two months later, this sweet dog is still looking for her forever home. Aster has been at the shelter since she was about two-months old.

According to her handlers, she loves people and playing fetch. Additionally, she knows the commands “sit” and “stay.” Up-to-date on her vaccinations, she is heartworm negative and microchipped.

She is described as being playful, goofy, extroverted, quirky, food-motivated and clever.
