PENDER COUNTY, N.C. (WECT) – Pender High School is hosting its annual scrub drive to allow students to wear medical scrubs on Fridays while practicing medical skills.

“Over the years, I’ve seen that when students look the part, they play it,” said Danyiel New. “Wearing scrubs not only helps them get into the mindset of a healthcare professional but also enhances their overall learning experience.”

The scrubs are donated by nursing professionals and the community so that all students can participate.
