PENDER COUNTY, N.C. (WECT) – Pender County is holding community meetings throughout the county from Sept. 17 through Oct. 3 to get feedback for its Imagine Pender 2050 Plan.
“The goal of the Plan is to establish a coordinated vision for future land use and growth over the next 25 years, then put together a road map for how to achieve that vision through policies, goals and actions. To make this plan successful, we need the community’s input to establish the County’s vision,” a county announcement states.

- Burgaw Rail Depot at 115 S Dickerson St, Burgaw, NC 28425 from 6 to 8 p.m.
- Wednesday, Sept. 18
- Atkinson Town Hall at 207 N Town Hall Ave, Atkinson, NC 28421 from 2 to 4 p.m.
