The puppies are currently 8 weeks old and art part of a lively litter that includes four other siblings, all of whom are also at the shelter. They have been well cared for and are eagerly awaiting their forever homes, each displaying their unique personalities and charm.
Heidi’s Hope has teamed up with local municipalities in New Hanover County to place Microchip Scanning Stations in accessible locations, providing a vital resource when other options may not be available. These self-serve stations allow to quickly check if a pet has a registered microchip, increasing the chances of a safe and speedy reunion.
The stations are easy to use and available 24/7. Simply release the scanner from the station and scan the pet. If the scanner locates a chip, follow the step-by-step directions on the station for how to proceed. There is also information on what to do if a chip is not found.
