BRUNSWICK COUNTY, N.C. (WECT) -The North Carolina Department of Transportation has closed a portion of N.C. 904 due to flooding from Tropical Depression Debby.

The road is closed in both directions from SR 1309 Horseshoe Road NW to the Columbus County line. This is just north of Calabash.

The D.O.T. urges drivers to not drive around barricades. According to DriveNC, the road is expected to reopen by Monday at 8 a.m.
