WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) -New Hanover County Fire Rescue crews responded Saturday afternoon, Aug. 17, to a structure fire in Porters Neck.

According to NHCFR, crews responded just after 2 p.m. to the scene on Spring Creek Lane.

There were no injuries in the fire, but a family and their pets have been displaced.

The New Hanover County Fire Marshall Office has ruled the fire as accidental.
