New H.O.P.E. CDC on July 11 plans to announce its first distribution of funding from a grant totaling $500,000 for rental assistance.

WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) – New H.O.P.E. CDC on Thursday plans to announce its first distribution of funding from a grant totaling $500,000 for rental assistance.

The organization has been able to help 32 families with rental needs so far, but the next round will service many more people.

If you did not apply the first time around, there will be another window to apply for rental assistance from July 18 to 21.

Qualifications include being employed and living in New Hanover County.
