BRUNSWICK COUNTY, N.C. (WECT) – NCWorks will be hosting two hiring events in Brunswick County this month.
RIVER ROAD ANIMAL HOSPITAL HIRING EVENT
River Road Animal Hospital will be hosting a hiring event with NCWorks on Nov. 12.
The event will connect attendees with job opportunities at River Road Animal Hospital in Southport, including:
- Veterinary Assistant
- Receptionist
- Registered Veterinary Technician
“Whether you’re greeting clients at the front desk or assisting veterinarians during exams, you’ll be part of a supportive, close-knit team that truly loves what we do,” said the River Road Animal Hospital team. “We value compassion, communication, teamwork, and a great attitude above all else.”
Attendees are encouraged to bring resumes. Staff will be on hand to assist with resume assistance, NCWorks registration, and interview preparation.
The event is set to be held from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Brunswick County NCWorks Career Center.
ROGER BACON ACADEMY HIRING EVENT
The Roger Bacon Academy will be hosting a hiring event with NCWorks on Nov. 18.
The Roger Bacon Academy team will be recruiting for positions at various campuses in Leland, Whiteville, Wilmington, and Southport/Bolivia, including:
- Teachers (grades 2 – 8)
- Exceptional Children roles
- Full-Time Substitute Teachers (no degree required)
- Bus Drivers and Monitors
- Maintenance Staff
The event is scheduled from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Brunswick County NCWorks Career Center.
A free Customer Service Excellence Workshop will be held from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. before the hiring event to help job seekers prepare.
