The N.C. Department of Transportation is planning to permanently close the left turn lane on North College Road turning onto Spring View Drive on July 22.

WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) – The N.C. Department of Transportation is planning to permanently close the left turn lane on North College Road turning onto Spring View Drive on Monday, July 22.

The closure is due to safety, per the NCDOT, and drivers who need to make the left turn should instead do so at Kings Drive instead.

“Drivers are urged to slow down near the work site and use caution,” a NCDOT announcement states.
