WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) – The NC Coastal Land Trust and Ghost Fleet Oyster Company are holding the Oyster Roast for the Coast on Oct. 1 from 5 to 8 p.m.

All proceeds from the event will go to the Trust’s campaign to save Topsail Island’s South End.

“The South End, also known as The Point, is a pristine 149-acre stretch of undeveloped land at the southern tip of Topsail Island. This area is not only a vital wildlife habitat but also a beloved spot for locals and visitors alike,” NCCLT wrote on their Facebook page.

The evening will also feature music, delicious offerings for purchase from the Fusion Blue food truck, and raffle items.
