ELIZABETHTOWN, N.C. (WECT) – A National Overdose Awareness Event is set for Wednesday, Aug. 28, at the Bladen County Courtyard at 166 E Broad St., Elizabethtown.

Per the county, the event will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and host vendors with substance abuse and behavioral health resources.

A memorial walk will start at the courthouse at noon.
